On Tuesday 20 October, our founder Kai Kaldewaaij will be one of five storytellers at Dark Horses, a career storytelling night at BounceSpace in Amsterdam.
The evening is organised by Enrique Gaya, a career coach and one of Treehouse’s volunteer coaches. It’s inspired by the Harvard research of Todd Rose and Ogi Ogas on “dark horses”: people who found success by following what fulfils them, at their own pace, rather than the expected path.
Kai will share his own story: from finance at JPMorgan and consulting at PwC to founding Treehouse Coaching, so that coaching and reflective space are open to everyone, including refugees arriving in the Netherlands, and not just those with the means or networks to find it.
He’ll be joined by four other storytellers whose careers took unexpected turns. After the stories, there’s time for drinks, Spanish tapas and good conversation with people standing at a crossroads of their own.
